OUR PROJECTS

Niskus have been involved in several exciting projects to date.

​

• Successful production of mycelium biomass, protein powder & enzymes from industrial sidestreams ,creation of
  feed from brewers spent grain for fish trials Matís Iceland) and Ireland (evaluations for processing of liquid and solid sidestreams related to brewers spent grains at a number of breweries and distilleries across Ireland)

• We have participated in leading accelerators & funded programmes: Big Idea Ventures (Paris), EIT Food accelerator 
  (Reading -Cambridge Universities ), Circuleire, Agtech UCD, EIT FAN Investors: Tech Tour Europe top 100 EU Bioeconomy startup.

 

• Created myco protein as highly versatile component / additions (for a broad range of composite food/ food products) by addressing existing manufacturing demands & consumer needs.

• Most recently we have been selected by the SoTecIn Factory project, which is supporting social innovation for sustainable industry.
